A Panorama of agricultural risks
Changer vos préférences
In 2019, we drew up a panorama of agricultural risk exposure, which revealed not only the wide range of requirements, operators involved and tools to be set up but also the need to give collective thought to how farmers and industrialists can protect themselves properly against the various risks with which they are faced.
GUARANTEEING SECURITY FOR PRODUCER GROUPS
Mutualising risks within a group of producers that share the same challenge when it comes to staying in business with a trade outlet is another way to improve their resilience in the face of production risks. As a supplement to individual cover, this coverage is « customised » so as to meet the specific needs of a particular production sector, a geographical indication, a producers’ union, etc…
GUARANTEEING SECURITY FOR STORAGE PROVIDERS, INDUSTRIALISTS, AGRICULTURAL SUPPLIERS
All partners directly related to producers are exposed to the same risks as far as their business activities are concerned and this can have an impact either on losses arising from shortfalls in raw material supplies or on the commercial implications involved in adapting the offer to the new economic conditions encountered by the producers (reduced input costs…). All of this coverage is designed on a made-to-measure basis with each of our clients.
For example:
- The purpose of our « Crop Shortfall » cover is to prevent and safeguard against the impact of a drop in crop yields, whether through a loss of gross margin arising from collecting, storing or drying activities, business interruption caused by industrial machinery operating below capacity through a lack of raw materials or the commercial consequences of being unable to honour client orders through a lack of raw materials…
- Our « Product Performance » coverage enables industrialists to guarantee the « Promised Product » should weather conditions seriously impair the technical performance expected from the product for sale (seeds, phyto products, fertilizers…)
